The clocks have gone back and the dark nights are upon us, so it's time to light up the skies with fireworks!

As we all head outside into the cold to be mesmerised by bonfires and fireworks, you’ll need some hearty, warming food in your belly before, during or after the celebrations, so make sure your bonfire feast goes with as much of a bang as your rockets.
If you’re planning a bonfire get together, it’s a great opportunity to fire up that BBQ just one more time to warm up your guests in the chilly November weather.
So, choose some hot and tasty treats that can be easily cooked up on the grill or in the oven if the weather isn’t quite on your side.
Our JK team has selected a few options to get your party off to a banging start. Mix it up with some burgers, hotdogs, sausages and skewers for a good selection to fill those hungry tums.
From our range of burgers, in addition to the popular 7oz steak burger, we suggest adding in some mozzarella melters, dirty Texans and fork in hell burgers to heat things up.
In the hotdog front, bang on a hickory chipotle or pork Toulouse and fire up some Piri Piri chicken skewers and hot & spicy steak kebabs.
Of course, some easy bowl food wouldn't go a miss, so cook up some easy favourites, like a big bowl of chilli using JK steak mince, a beef stew using JK diced steak or grab some pre prepared JK chicken fajitas.
And if you’re short of time, grab some of our chef prepared beef chilli, macaroni or BBQ pulled pork to pass off as your own – we won't tell!
Of course, you can pick up everything else you might need in-store from fresh buns and delicious Findlaters’ coleslaw to gins, wine and craft beers! Our resident beer guru recommends grabbing some of his favourite six packs or trying out the Cromarty White Out IPA or Wiper & True Milkshake Stout.
So, as you get your sparklers at the ready, remember to feed up your family and friends with some good old winter warmers using some local, Scottish produce.
